I'm planning to set up a goal line technology system, where I'll be using a raspberry pi to detect a goal(camera above the goal to detect whether ball has completely crossed the line). Now that I have detected a goal, I want to send a signal to a device (say LED), which is located around the middle of the field, which will show the output of the goal.Basically a blink of LED for a goal.
I've stumbled upon the 433 MHz receiver and transmitter sets. Can somebody explain how this would work and would I require another rpi? It would be really helpful if you would list out the components I would require. Any help in the form of alternative ways to accomplish the objective is appreciated.
